OneSearch: Using the Library Catalog

Use the library catalog to find books, eBooks, articles, films and more!

Introduction

OneSearch logo

OneSearch is your Merritt College Library search engine, allowing you to explore our collection for books, journal articles, newspapers, magazines, films and more. Within OneSearch, you have the ability to locate printed Circulating, Reserve or Reference texts as well access our online collections.

Although anyone may use OneSearch to discover content, only Merritt students have the option to view online materials. Off-campus access to online sources such as databases and eBooks will require user login; for details refer to the Databases & eBooks research guide.

All Peralta students are able to check out books from our Circulating print collection. We do not have an Inter-Library Loan program and therefore students must come to the Merritt Library to check out print books.

Finding OneSearch

OneSearch is found on the library's webpage in multiple places.

On the library homepage, you will find a link to the Library Catalog as well as a OneSearch search box so that you may directly begin your research.
