Using Library Resources

Article Databases

Scholarly articles on your topic may be found in our periodical databases. These databases collect articles from a wide variety of sources and are often the best source for current information.

You may search the databases using keywords, subjects, authors, titles and more. For assistance using the databases please contact your Merritt College Librarians.

Business Source Elite
Business Source Elite provides full text for over 1,000 business publications. The rich collection of titles in Business Source Elite provides information dating back to 1985. More than 10,100 substantial company profiles from Datamonitor are also included.
Gale OneFile: Business
Gale OneFile: Business contains full-text coverage of all business disciplines, including accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management and strategy, and business theory and practice. Users will understand the activities of companies and industries worldwide through leading business and trade publications, which are updated daily. Complementing these titles is a selection of international, U.S., and regional news publications.

Gale OneFile: Economics & Theory offers a strong emphasis on titles covered in the EconLit bibliographic index. ProQuest Research Library: Business provides one-stop access to thousands of full-text periodicals on accounting, business, corporations, economics, and management.
Regional Business News
Regional Business News provides comprehensive full-text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of more than 80 regional business publications covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.

EBSCO eBook Collection
The EBSCO eBook Collection offers a comprehensive selection of over 79,000 ebook titles in all core subject areas including social sciences, humanities, science, technology, medicine, the arts; thousands of front list and bestselling trade titles; ready reference materials including encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, and handbooks.
Gale eBooks
Gale eBooks is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own ebook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries.

Credo Reference is a research starting point that brings together over 700 full-text reference ebooks from over 100 publishers, covering a range of subject areas.
