The Occupational Outlook Handbook, published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, is a key source of career planning information. It contains a detailed description of hundreds of occupations combined with projections of job growth for each profession.

Users can find specific occupations by    

  • Median Pay (in 2016),
  • Entry Level Education Requirements,
  • On-the-Job Training,
  • Number of new Jobs (projected),
  • Growth-Rate (projected). 

Economic and Employment Projections are periodically released from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on an on-going basis.
